When is tee time?

Looking to play some golf this summer, but not sure where to go? Here is a rundown of some local public courses, which offer reasonable prices.

Unfortunately, most courses don’t offer student discounts, but if you look hard enough, there are some good rates out there.

Broadmoor golf course offers golfers a well manicured and challenging 18 holes. The course is also equipped with a driving range. The cost for 18 holes at Broadmoor is $26 on the weekdays and $30 on the weekends. Nine holes cost $13 on the weekdays and $15 on the weekends. Broadmoor is located at 3509 N.E. Glendoveer golf course has 36 holes for those die-hard golfers. The course is divided into east and west sections with the east side a little longer and more hilly than the west side. Both courses are tree lined with very little water hazards and neither is heavily bunkered.

Prices for both sides at Glendoveer are the same. Weekday fees for 18 holes are $25 and $27 on the weekends. For nine holes, the weekday rate is $13 and $15 on the weekends.
