While Utah State came up just short in its season opener to Pacific, the Vikings rallied in the fourth quarter to secure a victory over Binghamton in head coach Sherri Murrell’s debut.

Aggies senior guard Taylor Richards, who scorched the Pacific defense for 18 points in the opener, should be the Vikings’ most difficult challenge on the defensive end. Richards will likely match up with freshman wing Lexi Bishop or senior wing Delaney Conway, and if either is able to stymie her scoring production, a victory could follow for Portland State.
