Zombie walk shambles through Portland

The third annual Portland Zombie Walk will take place this weekend in downtown Portland, gathering in the center of downtown, moving northward and ending in Chinatown.

Participants are encouraged to come in full or partial zombie costume and follow the standard haunted house rules of not touching anyone or actively involving anyone nearby who is scared or otherwise does not wish to interact with participants.

Zombie participants are scheduled to meet at Pioneer Courthouse Square (715 S.W. Morrison St.) Saturday, Oct. 27, at 6 p.m.

Following the walk, an all-ages after-party for costumed participants will take place at Backspace, located at 115 N.W. Fifth Ave., at 8 p.m. Bands will perform at the after-party. Both the walk and the after-party are free.
