On Thursday, the Office of University Communications and PSU’s Multicultural Center hosted a Portland State Tweetup and Roots Festival Fair in an effort to spread awareness of PSU’s diversity and social media.
“What are your thoughts on the recent University Place Hotel controversy regarding nepotism and the exploitation of employees?”
“In light of the recently nice weather, what is your favorite outdoor activity that you have been waiting to do?”
“How do you feel about smoking in the Park Blocks?”
“What is your stance on the gay marriage debate?”
“How did you do on your taxes?”
“How do you feel about the tuition equity law that just passed?”
Next term, Portland State film students taking classes in room 331 of Lincoln Hall will see an upgrade in the way they interact with the study of film. These upgrades include a Blu-Ray player, whiteboards, an iMac mini and 10 iPads for classroom use. Installations will take place over spring break.
