College campuses are often portrayed as dens of hedonism and sin. The student body is imagined to spend most of its time drinking excessively and then proceeding to vomit excessively.

It is just about time for Portland State students to plan out the upcoming fall quarter. Yet, upon further examination, one quickly realizes that something important is definitely missing from the courses regularly offered.

In late April, TriMet proposed yet another fare increase for commuters. This comes after last year’s raise in fare left travelers scrounging for nickels and pennies in order to catch their ride.

Several weeks ago, a Muslim Student Association meeting was interrupted when a man with a flip cam set out to do some “citizen journalism.” The incident has since provoked a bit of a stir.

It seems as if every other person you meet in Portland is a vegetarian, or some other form of non-meat consumer.
