Running down the dream

Last week, the Portland State track and field teams broke several personal records at the Mt. SAC Relays. Then on Saturday at the Mondo Invitational, they qualified more student-athletes for next month’s Big Sky Outdoor Championship.

Full speed ahead

The Vikings track and field teams kept charging at full speed last weekend at the Willamette Invitational in Salem, Ore., and featured three Viking runners with first-place finishes.

Four student-athletes from the Portland State indoor track and field teams brought home five medals from the Big Sky Indoor Championships in Bozeman, Mont., , improving on last year’s four-medal performance by one.

Big Sky Indoor Championships

 The indoor track season is coming to an end, and 21 student-athletes from the Portland State men’s and women’s track and field teams are closing the season today at the conference championships.

Crossing the finish line

The Portland State track and field teams set new records at the Husky Classic over the weekend, and are now ready to send 12 student-athletes to the Big Sky Indoor Championship later this month.

Finish line in sight

The Vikings wrap up the indoor track and field regular season this weekend in Seattle, Wash., and they are off to Bozeman, Mont., after that for the Big Sky Indoor Championship.

Rumble in the concrete jungle

The Portland State indoor track and field teams are in New York City, N.Y., today to compete in the New Balance Collegiate Invitational at the renowned Armory Track and Field Center.
