Update on Banned Student
On Saturday, a Portland State student was banned from campus for sending threatening emails.
Gregory Reynolds, a 38-year-old white man, was identified in a photo in an alert sent out by the Campus Public Safety Office.
After the alert was sent, Reynolds was interviewed by local law enforcement and was not arrested, said CPSO Director Phil Zerzan.
“Now, everything will be handled as student conduct,” Zerzan said this morning.
The email was not sent to a PSU entity and didn’t specifically threaten PSU, he added.
Reynolds is still banned from campus today.
If you observe Mr. Reynolds on campus call Campus Public Safety at (503)725-4404.
