Enjoy fleeting images

Tibetan Buddhist monks of Drepung Loseling created this intricate mandala completely out of colored sand. The mandala was created at the central branch of the Multnomah County library. It will be destroyed today at noon in a closing ceremony for the events that surrounded the Dalai Lama’s visit to Portland.
