Free New York Times at PSU

Thanks to a partnership between PSU’s Center for AcademicExcellence and The New York Times, free copies of the Times are nowavailable on campus every weekday. The Times will provide about 300free papers a day through next May, attempting to inspire studentsto couple learning and civic awareness, according to Kevin Kecskes,PSU’s director of community-based learning.

University of Central Oklahoma’s Dr. Terry Clark discussed withPSU faculty ways of incorporating the paper into course curriculum.Both Kecskes and New York Times education manager PeterEliason-Rivera expressed interest in bringing more programs such aslectures or workshops involving The Times to PSU.
