R. Kevin Hill, a professor of philosophy at Portland State, has written an article that will appear in the new collection Nietzsche on Time and History, to be published February 2008.

The article is entitled “From Kantian Temporality to Nietzschean Naturalism,” and is based on a lecture of the same title Hill gave at the University of Cambridge in 2005.

Hill, a professional Nietzschean scholar, has been a Portland State faculty member since 2004, a year before he was admitted into the Illinois Bar to practice law. Hill also authored a book entitled Nietzsche’s Critiques: The Kantian Foundations of His Thought, which was published in 2005. He has also contributed to numerous journals. Hill’s newest book, Nietzsche: A Guide for the Perplexed, was published this summer.
