Another Manic Monday

Since 8 a.m. I’ve been either working or in class, and I probably won’t get out of the office until around 10 p.m. tonight. It’s par for the course around here, especially on Mondays.

Between classes I’ve dipped into the office, working on production for the Tuesday edition of the Vanguard, and somehow managed to squeeze in an interview for an important piece that I’m reporting for Thursday’s issue. We also had one of our weekly staff meetings today, and frankly, I’m amazed that any of us had the kind of energy required for it on a Monday.

Presently I’m editing pages for tomorrow’s print edition, and filling my precious free moments with readings from Genji Monogatari. I’ve just approved a new video for the Vanguard.com website, which I couldn’t be more pleased with. As editor-in-chief, I have to approve any and all content associated with the newspaper or its various means of exhibition. Speaking of which, we are now once again the proud owners of both psuvanguard.org and psuvanguard.com, so please feel free to use either!
