PSU opens new Office of Academic Innovation
On June 3, the Portland State Faculty Senate voted to close the Center for Academic Excellence and the Center for Online Learning. With the same vote, the Senate created the new Office of Academic Innovation.
Recruiting to fill all-university committee seats by fall

On the night of Feb. 26, 2012, in Sanford, Florida, Trayvon Martin was shot to death by George Zimmerman, who was later charged with second-degree murder and manslaughter.
