Musical performances on our university campus are a common and welcome occurrence. On Thursday, March 1, the Performance Attendance Recital Series continues with a concert featuring Trio Spektrum in Lincoln Hall.
Trio Spektrum is a three-person chamber ensemble that perform across the Pacific Northwest. All three members—flutist Marilyn Shotola, clarinetist Stan Stanford and pianist Tomas Svoboda—are among the musical department faculty at Portland State. Although Trio Spektrum’s musical repertoire varies from concert to concert, they have been known to play many baroque pieces as well as a blend of contemporary works.
